****THIS IS A RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY, READ BEFORE SIGNING****

In consideration of the opportunity afforded me to participate in the Men's Retreat scheduled for August 17-20, 2025 and organized by the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Denver; their respective officers, council members, employees and agents (hereinafter, the “RELEASED PARTIES”) shall not be liable or responsible for personal injury or personal illness to me (including paralysis or death) or damage to my vehicle or property as a result of the Men's Retreat indoor/outdoor events. I understand that as a participant, I do so voluntarily and at my own risk, in all activities, and I assume all risks of injury, illness, and damage arising out of the conduct of such activities. I release and hold the “RELEASED PARTIES” harmless from any injury and/or illness to my person, or loss to my personal property, which may result from my participation in this Men's Retreat event.

I UNDERSTAND THAT THIS MEANS I AGREE NOT TO SUE THE “RELEASED PARTIES” FOR ANY INJURY and/or ILLNESS, TO MYSELF OR DAMAGE TO MY PERSONAL PROPERTY RESULTING FROM, OR IN CONNECTION WITH, ANY ACTIVITIES OR EVENTS RELATED TO THIS ACTIVITY AND WAIVE ANY NEGLIGENCE OR OTHER CAUSE OF ACTION.

I hereby state that I am experienced in and familiar with outdoor activities and fully understand the risks and dangers inherent in doing so in the mountains of Colorado. I take full responsibility for my safety.

By signing this Release, I certify that I have read this Release and fully understand it and that I am not relying on any statements or representations made by the “RELEASED PARTIES”.
